So basically what your answer is saying is that there is no built in functionality to support those of us who have the OS on a small SSD and want apps and so on to be installed from the store to a secondary HDD or SSD? I would not suggest editing the registry to be a sensible way to deal with the issue as this can cause a multitude of problems if even a small mistake is made.
